RAJOURI, July 3: Two persons were injured when a car fell into a gorge in Rajdhani area of Thannamandi in Rajouri district today.
Official sources said that a car accident took place today in Rajdhani area of Thannamandi tehsil. The car bearing registration number JK11D-2629, rolled down into a gorge leaving two persons onboard seriously injured.
The injured have been identified as Waqar Ahmed (28 yrs) and Firoze Ahmed, son of Mohammad Shabir (22 yrs).
Both the injured individuals were promptly shifted to GMC Rajouri by local residents. Dr. Mehmood Bajjar, the Medical Superintendent of GMC Rajouri, told that the patients are currently under treatment and receiving the necessary medical care in GMC Rajouri.
The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
