2 injured in accident

SAMBA, Feb 25: Accidents caused by stray cattle have led to public outrage in the recent past also but no concrete steps have been taken by the administration to prevent them.
The tragic incident took place today also when a stray cow came in front and was hit by a Van bearing registration number JK21C 8044 near BP Petrol Pump, Ghagwal in the evening hours.
Bimpy Kumar, 30, son of Amrik Singh , residents of Ward 8, Kathua was driving the van and he was seriously injured in the accident. His condition is stated to be critical.
He was accompanied by Suresh Kumar, 38, son of Surinder Singh of Kathua who received minor injuries.
Both these have been shifted to Ghagwal Hospital from where they have been referred to GMC Kathua as per the request from their family.
