Srinagar, Dec 27: Two people were today wounded after the panel of an oxygen cylinder burst, causing leakage at GMC, Baramulla, officials said.
The injured have been identified as Asif Mushtaq Bhat from Delina Baramulla and Mohammad Saleem Khan from Kandli Bagh Baramulla.
As per officials, both the injured were working as technicians at the oxygen plant and suffered injuries on their faces.
“They have been brought to Srinagar for specialized treatment,” officials said.
Principal GMC, Baramulla Dr Ruby Reshi said that they are ascertaining the fact as to what led to the accident.
“As of now, the oxygen plant is up and running, however, to ascertain the facts and circumstances that led to the incident will be inquired into and whosoever is responsible will be brought to book,” she said.
