2 hurt in road accidents

RAJOURI, Nov 5: Two persons were injured in separate road accidents in the district today.
A police spokesman said that driver- Rajinder Sharma of Akhnoor was injured after his tipper No. JK-02AK/9705 fell into a gorge at Sodra village in Sunderbani area this morning. The tipper was loaded with bricks and was on way to Kangri village in Sunderbani. The seriously injured driver was rushed to Sunderbani Hospital and later referred to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Meanwhile, one Sikander Azam, son of Ismail, resident of Rajouri town was injured after he was hit by a motor-cycle at Gujjar Mandi Chowk here today. His leg got fractured in the mishap. The injured has been admitted to District Hospital, Rajouri. The police has registered a case in this connection.
