RAJOURI, Apr 23: The police nabbed two persons and recovered 17 rolls (Challies) of charas from them in Chingus area today.
The accused have been identified as Abdul Kadar (45), son of Nazir Ahmed and Imran Hussain (25), son of Mohammad Ishaq, both residents of Jhandi Dhara village of Rajouri, the police said.
It said a Police team headed by Incharge Police Post Chingus Chatyar, Insp Ashish Chowdhary, during routine patrolling in Jhandi Dhara stretch noticed two persons attempting to evade the police party suspiciously. During their frisking 17 rolls of charas like substance, were recovered from their possession.
A case FIR No. 180/21 u/s 8/21/60 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri in this connection.
