SRINAGAR, Mar 10: Two persons have been held with charas by police in Kulgam district booked for transporting narcotic drugs.
A police spokesman said two men, Kursheed Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Nabi Dar of Tulkhana and Danish Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rehman Dar of Sangam, who were transporting two kilos of charas in a Tavera cab, 8918/JK03C, were arrested at Wanpow, Qaimoh in the district.
An FIR 44/2015 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against the two men and further investigation is on.
