RAMBAN, June 23: Gool police rescued four bovine animals and arrested two persons.
As per police sources, a team from Gool police station led by SHO Ravi Singh intercepted two persons carrying four bovine animals and during questioning, it came to fore that the accused were smuggling the bovines to Valley.
Police arrested the accused, who have been identified as Mohammad Sultan, son of Mohammad Ramzan and Mohammad Aqib, son of Mohammad Rafiq Niak, both residents of Mahu, tehsil Banihal.
A case under FIR Number 36/16 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at police station Gool and investigation started.
