2 gamblers, one absconder arrested by Miran Sahib police

JAMMU, Oct 28: Miran Sahib police today arrested two gamblers and an absconder.
As per police sources, police team from Miran Sahib police station conducted a raid in Kotli Mian Fateh area and arrested two gamblers along with Rs 5,330 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Roshan Lal, son of Dharam Chand of Ala, Arnia and Pawan Kumar, son of Banarsi Lal of Kotli Mian Fateh.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Miran Sahib police station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, police also arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past three years.
The absconder has been identified as Gurdeep Singh alias Chintu, son of Raghubir Singh of Ward Number 2, Simble Camp.
The accused was wanted in a case registered with Miran Sahib police station under FIR number 26/2011. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib police station SI Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Devinder Singh, SP Headquarters Randhir Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
