2 drug peddlers arrested with heroin

JAMMU, Aug 10: RS Pura Police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from RS Pura Police Station headed by ASI Ghulam Nabi laid a naka at Seer Blah road and intercepted a Zen car bearing registration number JK01C-8899.
During checking, police recovered 7 grams of heroin from the possession of two persons travelling in the car and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Narinder Singh, son of Bachan Singh, a resident of Chak Prema Tehsil RS Pura and Sunil Kumar, a resident of Puro Bhana.
A case under FIR Number 102/18 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO RS Pura Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
