JAMMU, Dec 10: Two drug peddlers have been arrested with heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Greater Kailash laid a naka near Forest Chowk and apprehended a person along with 20 grams of heroin.
The arrested person has been identified as Chetan Sharma, son of Shiv Darshan Sharma, a resident of Rehari Colony District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 135/2020 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Station Nowabad led by SHO Inspector Deepak Jasrotia arrested a person along with 4 grams of heroin from JP Chowk area.
The arrested person has been identified as Devi Prasad, son of Raj Kumar of Madhya Pradesh, at present near Kunjwani Chowk.
A case under FIR Number 149/20 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation initiated.
