KATRA, Sept 7: Bhawan Police today arrested two drug peddlers and seized 310 gms charas from their possession.
Acting on specific information, a police party, led by SHO Bhawan, Inspector Rajesh Sharma, apprehended two employees working as Safai Karamchari in the Shrine Board, identified as Bihari Lal of Toote Di Khui, Bajalta Jammu and Ranjeet Kumar of Kul Daavi Sunderbani, Rajouri.
During their frisking, the Police party recovered eight Chhallies of Charas from the possession of Bihari Lal and 10 Chhallies from the possession of Ranjeet Kumar (total 18 Chhallies weighing 310 gms Charas).
Police arrested both the accused and seized the recovered Charas. In this connection, a case under FIR No. 11/2016 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bhawan.
