SRINAGAR, Jan 23: Continuing its efforts to end drug menace from the society, police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
A police spokesperson said police party led by SHO Soura, Ayaz Geelani under the supervision of SDPO Hazratbal Rameez Raseed Bhat apprehended two notorious drug peddlers and recovered 28 bottles of codeine phosphate from their possession. They were identified as Aarif Ahmad Mir resident of Umer Colony Lalbazar and Waseem Ahmad Dar resident of Hakeem Mohalla Lalbazar.
Police has registered a case FIR number 11/18 under section 8/22 NDPS and investigation was taken up.
