2 die of COVID in Kashmir, 313 test +ve

Srinagar, Nov 19: Kashmir reported two COVID-19 related deaths today and 313 fresh cases.
Those who died today include a 70-year-old woman from Nichama in district Kupwara and a 73-year-old man from Buchwara Dalgate in Srinagar.
With these deaths, the total fatality count in the Valley has reached 1070.
Srinagar district with 402 deaths topped the list followed by Baramulla 159, Budgam 98, Pulwama 86, Kupwara 79, Anantnag 76, Bandipora 49, Kulgam 48, Ganderbal 37 and Shopian 36.
And Kashmir valley today reported 313 cases taking the overall tally in J&K to 104715.
Among fresh cases, Srinagar reported 130 cases, Baramulla 35, Budgam 29, Pulwama 18, Kupwara 33, Anantnag 14, Bandipora 23, Ganderbal 20, Kulgam 6 and Shopian 5.
As per officials figures, 21,950 positive cases including 402 deaths and 20,000 recoveries are from Srinagar, 7,088 including 159 deaths and 6,348 recoveries are from Baramulla, 6,577 including 6,214 recoveries and 98 deaths are from Budgam, 4,919 including 4,697 recoveries and 86 deaths are from Pulwama, 4,984 including 79 deaths and 4,392 recoveries are from Kupwara, 4,467 including 4,204 recoveries and 76 deaths are from Anantnag, 4,296 cases including 4,084 and 49 deaths are from Bandipora, 4,032 including 3,693 recoveries and 37 deaths are from Ganderbal, 2,563 including 2,442 recoveries and 48 deaths are from Kulgam and 2,290 including 2,184 recoveries and 36 deaths are from Shopian.
Of 104,715 positive cases, 63,166 are from Kashmir. Srinagar has 58,258 recoveries and 1,070 deaths.
The total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 5,560 including 3,838 from Kashmir division.
With 565 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 97,537 which is 93.14 percent of the total cases.
Out of 2,729,618 number of samples tested so far, 2,624,903 were negative and 104,715 positive. Among them 5,560 persons are active, 97,537 persons have recovered and 1,618 persons have died.
