SRINAGAR, May 23: Two persons including a baby and an Army jawan died and other four including two minors were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
A Police spokesperson said that a Tata vehicle JK01B/96 hit and injured Simran, 5, daughter of Bilal Ahmad Bhat of Baihama at Bahima, Kulgam. The said baby succumbed to her injuries while on way to hospital. A case has been registered in this regard.
One Ct. driver Surrender Kumar No. 14820277-Y of 18 RR Camp Cherkote died due to vehicle accident inside the premises of the camp, Kupwara. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Figo vehicle JK01Q/5840 hit and injured Daishah Jan, 4, daughter of Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat of Nowgam, Srinagar at Khanmooh, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
An unidentified Maruti Car hit and injured one Jabbar Wassim, 9 son of Wassim Ahmed Mir of Janglat Mandi, Anantnag, at Old KMD Adda, Anantnag. The injured was shifted to SMHS, Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
An unidentified vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohammad Parra age, 45, son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Chewadara, Beerwah near National Highway JVC, Bemina, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to JVC, Bemina, Srinagar Hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Santro Car JK01C/5556 hit an Auto Rickshaw bearing registration number JK01J/2405 near Sharjah Ground, Bemina, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to auto driver Farooq Ahmed Pakhtoon, son of Jum Pakhtoon of Chanaora. The injured was shifted to SMHS, Hospital, Srinagar, for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
