SRINAGAR, Apr 30: The two days 5th Skipping Rope Championship 2018 concluded at the Legends School of Education, Kanitar Sadrabal, here today.
Over 750 students drawn from 15 schools participated in the event. Director School Education, GN Itoo was the chief guest on the occasion, while Tariq Rashid Ghani, President Hussaini Sports Club, Imran Shah, Chairman Legends School and Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, Principal Legends School were the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, GN Itoo congratulated all the participants in general and medal winners in particular and appreciated the Hussaini Sports Club for organizing such events to promote sports.
The Legends School led the medal tally, followed by Sane Kids School which remained on 2nd spot. Mubashir, Tabia and Madiha of Legends School and Kahwish of Sane Kids School were adjudged as the best skippers of Championship.
The event was jointly organized by Hussaini Sports Club and Legends School of Education.
