2-day National Conference ESDR-17 begins at Business School Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, Sept 8: Two Days National Conference on Emerging Dynamics of Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, and Rural Livelihoods in New Economic Era was inaugurated today by  Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA, Ramnagar at the Business School Bhaderwah campus of Jammu University here, today.
Pathania, addressed the gathering and shared his views on the various legislations which have been passed in recent years and underscored the need to transform the ideas and suggestions discussed in the conference into reality.
The inauguration ceremony began with the Saraswati Vandna.
The conference has participation of delegates from ten states of the country which include Kerala, Karnataka, WB, Maharashtra, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and one delegate from the neighboring country of Bangladesh.
Prof. G M Bhat, Rector, Bhaderwah Campus and Chairman of ESDR-17 made the welcome address.
Prof. Alka Sharma, Director, Business School JU and convener of ESDR-17 introduced the audience to the theme of the conference. She said that the chosen theme is appropriate and relevant in relation to current economic dynamism.
The keynote speaker of the conference was Prof. Nimit Chaudhary from Jamia Millia Islamia University who enlightened the audience with his thought provoking lecture.
Prof. Dost Mohammad who was the guest of honour at the ceremony.
Life Time Achievement award was presented by the chief guest and Chairman of ESDR-17 to Prof. Dost Mohammad for his excellent contribution in the field of academics.
Sujit Khare, Head of Department of Marketing, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayan Super Speciality Hospital, Katra gave a fantastic presentation on the achievements of Hospital and how it is contributing to the society in the State of Jammu & Kashmir.
Sunil Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor and the organizing secretary of ESDR-17 proposed the vote of thanks.
