Srinagar, July 31: Police today booked 2 notorious drug peddlers under PIT NDPS Act in Budgam.
As per police, 2 drug habitual offenders and notorious drug peddlers namely Javaid Ahmed Beigh son of Abdul Rasheed Beigh resident of Nasrullapora Budgam, and Mukhtar Ahmed Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani resident of Bathar Budgam were arrested for their involvement in drug peddling.
“Both the drug peddlers have been detained under PIT NDPS Act through orders issued by the competent authority and have been lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu,” police said.
