JAMMU, May 27: Katra Police today arrested two bootleggers and seized 48 pouches of illicit liquor from their possession.
The accused, identified as Nitu Kumar and Suraj of Serbad Katra were on way to Katra when Police intercepted them and seized the illicit liquor. Twenty two poly pouches of J&K Excise liquor were recovered from the possession of Nitu Kumar and 26 from Suraj.
A case under Section 48-A Excise Act and 188/RPC has been registered in this connection at Police Station Katra.
