UDHAMPUR, July 24: In separate incidents, two persons consumed poison under mysterious circumstances in Udhampur.
According to the police report, one Nitan Sharma (29) son of Madhan Lal of Ward number 6, Slathia Chowk Udhampur, consumed some poisonous substance in his home late last night. Family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained.
Meanwhile, one Dawarka Nath (46), son of Bhagat Ram of Chenani, also consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances in his home. He was rushed to Sub District Hospital Chenani and then referred to District Hospital Udhampur.
