JAMMU, Sept 2: Ramnagar police today arrested two drug peddler and recovered heroin and charas from their possession.
On a tip off, Ramnagar police party headed by SHO Sub Inspector Jaswinder Singh under the supervision of Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Jagdev Singh Slathia intercepted a Scooty No. 9332 JK14E and arrested two drug peddlers.
The accused have been identified as Neetu Sharma son of Janak Raj, a resident of Khogarh Marh, Ramnagar and Inder Singh son of Vijay Singh of Chanunta, Ramnagar.
From the possession of Neetu Sharma, police recovered two grams heroin while from Inder Singh, it seized 10 grams charas.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the accused under Section 8/20/21/22 NDPS Act at Ramnagar police station.
