JAMMU, July 18: RS Pura Police arrested two persons for hurting sentiments of a particular community.
As per police sources, RS Pura Police swung into action and arrested two persons who were spreading malicious and objectionable pictures on social media thereby hurting the sentiments of a particular community.
Anil Kumar, son of Janak Raj, a resident of Magowali Suchetgarh and Vishal Kumar, son of Rattan Lal, a resident of Dablehar, were arrested after a written complaint was filed with SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan.
A team led by SHO RS Pura Inspector Jai Pal Sharma swung into action and arrested the duo.
Their mobile phones have been seized and subsequently a case under FIR Number 145/2020 under section 295-A IPC and 67-A IT Act was registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
The whole exercise was conducted under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu Adil Hamid and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
