JAMMU, Apr 26: Nagrota police arrested two persons in assault case.
As per police sources, Shubam alias Dana, son of Sham Lal of Gurha Bakshi Nagar and Murli Manohar, son of Mubarak Singh of Reasi stopped the car of Kapil Singh, son of Baldev Singh of Gurha Bakshi Nagar and assaulted him with sticks near Sidhra.
The victim was shifted to GMCH, from where he was later discharged after treatment.
A case under FIR Number 89/17 under Section 341 and 323 RPC was registered at Nagrota police station and hunt was launched to arrest the accused.
On specific information, a team from Nagrota police station arrested the accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Daljit Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Dr Amit Sharma and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
