JAMMU, Apr 18: In separate incidents, two Army jawans posted along the Line of Control in Poonch, died in accident fire under mysterious circumstances.
Reports said that Sepoy Manmohan Budhani of Kumaun Regiment, posted at Baloni in KG Sector, sustained accident bullet shot last night and later succumbed to his injuries.
The other similar incident took place this evening when Sepoy Ravinder Singh of 21 Punjab Regiment, posted a Danu Post in Mendhar, sustained bullet injury under mysterious circumstances and died.
Both the incidents took place on the forward posts along LoC in Mendhar.
However, according to the Defence spokesman, the soldiers were not killed in the Pakistani firing.
