JAMMU, Oct 14: Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bakshi Nagar Police Station conducted raid and apprehended two absconders, who were at large since long.
The arrested persons were identified as Akash Kumar, son of Jagdish Kumar of New Plot, Jammu and Mohitesh Sharma, son of Ved Prakash Sharma of Shakti Nagar, Jammu.
They were wanted in cases registered under FIR Numbers 141/11 under section 294 RPC and 130/2006 under Sections 307, 452 and 34 RPC. Arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC also stands issued against them by Sub-Judge Railway Magistrate and Principal Session Judge, Jammu.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
