19 bovines rescued

RAJOURI, Sept 13: The police has rescued 19 bovine animals from the clutches of smugglers in Rajouri district.
Official sources said that a police team from Narla Bambal post, headed by Head Constable, Ghulam Rasool under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera, Khaliq Hussain during routine patrolling saw some people smuggling bovines. The police intercepted and rescued eleven bovines from their clutches . Both the smugglers Naseem Mohd and Mohd Yousaf, son’s of Mehandiya, residents of Keri Bhela were arrested. Both the smugglers have been booked in a case FIR 93/2018 U/S 188 RPC of Police Station Dharamsal.
Another police team headed by SHO Nowshera, Romal Singh during routine patrolling intercepted four smugglers smuggling eight bovines. All the bovines were rescued and smugglers arrested from the spot. A case FIR No. 189/2018 U/S 188 RPC has been registered at Nowshera Police Station in this connection.
