KARGIL, Nov 13: Police seized 180 bags of cement and two tippers.
As per police spokesman, Incharge SHO Police Station Kargil Inspector Shamim Ahmed assisted by ASI Mohd Mustafa intercepted 2 tippers bearing registration numbers JK07-0015 and JK01E-8535 loaded with 180 cement bags at TCP Shilikchey.
The drivers left the tippers ahead of checking point and escaped from the spot.
Most probably, the loaded cement bags belong to some Government agency and were stolen.
Accordingly, police team seized 180 bags of cement and 2 tippers under sections 102 CrPC and presented before the Judicial Magistrate Kargil.
The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of Additional SP Kargil Chowdhary Iftkhar Ahmed.
