JAMMU, Jun 19: The Home Department today ordered transfer and posting of 18 officers of the Prosecution Department.

As per an order, Laeeq Ahmad Dar, Deputy Director Prosecution Crime Headquarters (already promoted as Joint Director Prosecution) has been transferred and posted as Joint Director Prosecution, Crime Headquarters, J&K against an available vacancy, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, Deputy Director Prosecution, in the office of Director General of Prosecution (already promoted as Joint Director Prosecution) has been transferred and posted as Joint Director Prosecution Headquarters J&K against an available vacancy.
The order further said that Sunit Kargotra, Deputy Director Prosecution in the office of Director Prosecution, Jammu (already promoted as Joint Director Prosecution) holding additional charge of the post of Deputy Director Prosecution, Samba-Kathua has been transferred and posted as Joint Director Prosecution Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K against an available vacancy, Irshad Ahmad Sheikh, additional PP in Anti-Corruption Court, Jammu (already promoted as Deputy Director Prosecution) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution, ACB J&K, against an available vacancy.
Harminder Singh, Chief Prosecuting Officer (CPO), Crime Headquarters, J&K (incharge Deputy Director Prosecution) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution Rajouri-Poonch against an available vacancy, Kamal Sharma, CPO in CID Headquarters J&K (incharge Deputy Director) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution, CID Headquarters. He shall also hold the charge of Deputy Director Prosecution, SIA, J&K, ordered the Government.
Additionally, it has been ordered that Suresh Kumar, Public Prosecutor, Principal Sessions Court, Jammu (incharge Deputy Director) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution, Udhampur-Reasi against an available vacancy, Prashant Mahajan, CPO in the office of Director Prosecution Jammu (incharge Deputy Director) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution in the office of Director General of Prosecution J&K against an available vacancy.
Aijaj Hussain, Public Prosecutor, Principal Sessions Court, Srinagar, (incharge Deputy Director) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution, Pulwama-Budgam against an available vacancy, Javaid Ahmad Bhat, Public Prosecutor, Principal Sessions Court, Pulwama (incharge Deputy Director) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution, Srinagar against an available vacancy.
Davinder Paul Singh, Additional Public Prosecutor, Court of second Additional Sessions Judge, Jammu (incharge Deputy Director) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution Kathua-Samba against an available vacancy, Mohammad Maqbool Shah, Additional Public Prosecutor, Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Srinagar (incharge Deputy Director) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution, Ganderbal-Bandipora against an available vacancy.
Vikram Sharma, Additional Public Prosecutor, Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Jammu (incharge Deputy Director), has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution, Doda-Kishtwar against an available vacancy, Ashish Rathore, CPO, Security Headquarters, J&K (incharge Deputy Director) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution in the office of Director Generral of Prosecution, J&K against an available vacancy. He shall also hold the charge of CPO in Security Headquarters, J&K.
Ghulam Jeelani Dar, CPO, Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K (incharge Deputy Director) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution Anantnag-Kulgam-Shopian against an available vacancy, Umer Mansoor, Assistant Public Prosecutor in the court of Second Additional Munsiff, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Senior Prosecuting Officer in DPO Awantipora. He shall also hold the charge of Senior PO in DPO Pulwama.
Sidharath Thakur, Assistant Public Prosecutor in the court of Munsiff, Ukhral has been transferred and posted as Senior PO in the SIA, J&K against an available vacancy, and Ravikant Samyal, Senior PO awaiting orders of posting in the Home Department has been transferred and posted as Senior PO in DPO Ramban against an available vacancy.
