172 personnel promoted in J&K Armed Police

Srinagar, Oct 16: Armed Police Headquarters J&K today issued promotion orders of 172 officers and officials of J&K Armed Police in different ranks after the Departmental Promotion Committee headed by ADGP Armed J&K A.K Choudhary found them eligible for their next promotions.
As per orders issued by ADGP Armed J&K A.K Choudhary, 31 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) have been promoted to the rank Sub-Inspectors (SIs), 17 Head Constables have been promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs).
Similarly, 67 selection grade Constables (Sgcts) have been promoted to the rank of Head Constables and 57 Constables have been promoted to the rank of Sg.Constables.
ADGP Armed J&K A.K Choudhary and his Staff Officer Mehmood Ahmed SSP expressed hope that the promoted officers and officials will continue to work with the same zeal and zest and discharge their legitimate duties honestly and professionally, upholding the sanctity of public service.
