REASI, July 28: Seventeen passengers, including females and family members, were injured when a speeding minibus skidded off the road and turned turtle at Duggi Laiter on Pouni-Bambla road, here today.
The minibus, bearing registration number JK02BE-3627, was on way from Akhnoor to Shivkhori when it met with the accident. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Reasi and all of them were stated to be out of danger.
They were identified as Nihal Verma (19), son of Bari Ram, Sunil Kumar (23), son of Om Prakash, Tannu Sharma (23) wife of Sanjay Kumar, Rakesh Kumar (37), son of Sukhdev, Atul (18), son of Pritam Lal, Rano Devi (55), wife of Sukhdev, Amit Verma (14), son of Pawan Kumar, Santosh Kumari (27), wife of Tilak Raj, Ammy, son of Sanjay Kumar, Sham Lal (50), son of Thakur Dass, Shivali Sharma (23), daughter of Sham Lal, Anshu (26), wife of Madan, Santosh Kumari (50), wife of Sham Lal, Shikha Sharma (24), daughter of Nanak Chand, Rahul Sharma (10), son of Ganesh Dass and Toshi Devi (45).
All the victims are resident of Sungal in Akhnoor.
