17 Govt employees suspended, 3 attached

JAMMU, Jan 16: Seventeen Government employees have been suspended, while three others have been attached for remaining unauthorized absent in Kishtwar and Ramban districts.
As per official sources, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chatroo Masood Qazi paid surprise visit to Block Development Office (BDO) Mugal Maidan and found four employees absent from their duties without proper leave and permission.
Taking serious note of this, SDM ordered suspension of employees namely Sandeep Kumar (SO), Meena Kumari (CIC Operator R&B), Bimla Bhandari (W/S) and Aziz Mohammad (Helper).
Meanwhile, Qazi paid surprise visit to BDO Chatroo and found two employees unauthorized absent and ordered their suspension.
The suspended employees are Tariq Pervez (CIC Operator) and Mohammad Ashraf (Senior Asstt).
He also ordered attachment of three employees with the office of SDM Office for remaining absent. The employees attached are Mudassir Hussain (Accounts Asstt), Rajesh Kumar (NREGA Operator) and Syed Rahat Sajad (NREGA Operator).
Meanwhile, to check the punctuality in the offices, Deputy Commissioner Ramban Bashir Ahmed Dar paid surprise visit to various offices.
During the inspection, some officials were found absent from their duties without proper leave and permission besides not maintaining their movement registers.
Taking serious note of this, DC ordered the suspension of all eleven employees of different offices who were absent from their duties during the working hours.
He further ordered that a charge sheet shall be served upon them for their said misconduct. DC also passed strict direction to the officers for not allowing any official without permission and asked them to adhere to the office timing properly so that general public do not face any inconvenience.
