KATHUA, Apr 3: Sixteen passengers were injured three of them seriously when a rashly driven bus bearing registration number JK21-6818 which was on its way from Jammu to Kathua turned turtle on National Highway near Ghagwal today after the driver of the vehicle lost control on steering.
Sixteen passengers in the bus were injured however the condition of three of them was stated to be critical. The injured passengers were taken to Ghagwal Hospital where from some were rushed to District Hospital Samba.
However the three serious passengers were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for specialized treatment. They were identified as Sanjeev Singh of Barnoti, Vershee of Khokhyal and Mantu of Nagari Kathua.
The Ghagwal police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law and started investigation.
