UDHAMPUR, June 28: Sixteen persons were injured when a Tempo, in which they were traveling, rolled down into deep gorge near Mantalai at Latti Sudhmahadev road.
The Tempo, bearing registration number JK14B-101, 1 was on its way from Marothi village to Kashmir Valley when it met with the accident. Police and local rush to the spot and shifted the injured persons to PHC Sudhmahadev and Sub District Hospital Chenani.
The injured were identified as Omkar (50) son of Munshi Ram of Sarar, Manohar Lal (33) son of Laju Ram of Sarar, Sham Lal (44) son of Suram Chand of Sarar, Ajay (12) son of Sham of Sarar, Bishnu Devi (60) wife of Chipa Ram of Marothi, Krishan Lal (55) son of Mari Ram of Jig, Bimla Devi (40) wife of Krishan Lal of Jig, Rahul Kumar (7) son of Lekh Raj of Jig, Shammu (2) daughter of Om Parkash of Marothi, Dhuoli Devi (50) wife of Som Raj of Sarar, Som Raj (52) son of Beli Ram of Sarar, Amar Nath (67) son of Santoo of Sarar, Desraj (40) son of Neshu of Marothi, Taro Devi (35) wife of Om Parkash of Marothi, Om Parkash (37) son of Balku of Marothi and Joginder Kumar (30) son of Krishan Lal of Jig.
