RAJOURI, May 2: Going tough against the employees of Education Department showing dereliction in duty, Chief Education Officer Rajouri Abdul Hamid Fani has suspended 16 employees in Kotranka, Khawas and Bal Jarallan zones whereas, Zonal Education Officer Kotranka has also been served show cause notice for unauthorized absence from duty.
Reports said on the directions of DC Rajouri, Chief Education Officer Rajouri placed under suspension the absent staff of ZEO office at Kotranka. They are senior assistant Shabir Hussain, sweeper Saleem Ullah, Physical Education Teacher Mohammad Iqbal and Class- IV employees Ishari Singh, Mohammad Amin, Mohammad Sadiq and Abdul Gafoor. Besides this, ZEO Kotranka has also been served explanation notice as during the visit by a team, he was also found unauthorized absent from office with no whereabouts in office.
Besides this, different teams of Education department visited various schools across the district and submitted inspection report to Chief Education Officer after which employees showing dereliction in duty have been dealt with strictly. At PS Pathkothi, ReT regularized teacher Maneeza Begum has been suspended and ReT teacher Mohammad Aslam has been served with termination notice. Three teachers of Government Middle School Kochajja namely Master Mohammad Iqbal has been suspended while termination notices has been served to ReT Rabia Akhter and ReT Nusrat Jabeen. In Government Primary School Sujjan Hill, which was found close during surprise inspection, disengagement notices have been served to two ReTs namely Ghulam Shah and Safia Begum while in Government Middle School Sujjan Hill, which was also found close during surprise inspection, ZEO Kotranka has been asked to provide ZRC duty slip of Teacher Mohammad Ashraf and properly sanctioned Medical leave of Master Sajjad Mir while disengagement notice has been served to ReT teacher Shazia Kouser.
Similarly, teacher Shamim Akhter posted in Government Middle School Jalanmang has been suspended whereas, concerned ZEOs have been asked to provide ZRC duty slips of teachers namely Mohammad Shakil posted in Government Primary School Baranwali, Mohammad Maneer in Government Primary School Kandra and Mohammad Aslam in Government Middle School, Kanra.
In Govt High School, Ladyote of zone Bal Jarralan, three masters namely school headmaster Saleema Akhter, Shaheen Bibi and Faiz Hussain Shah have been placed under suspension.
Taking strong note of the closure of Government Primary School Doonga Draman, during surprise inspection by Principal Higher Secondary School Samote, CEO Rajouri has suspended two teachers namely Nasreen Akhter and Shabina Akhter as both were found unauthorisedly absent from duty. Shabina Akhter was not coming to school since long. Similarly, teacher Paramjot Kour posted in Government Primary School Chatroon Khawas has been suspended for her unauthorized absence from duty since five days.
