JAMMU, Dec 29: Nagrota police intercepted a truck and rescued 16 bovine animals being smuggled.
According to SHO, police station Nagrota, Sohail Rasheed, a team of police intercepted a truck bearing registration No JK02AH-5977 at Toll Plaza, Bantalab in Nagrota on Wednesday and rescued 16 bovine animals being smuggled.
“The driver of the vehicle, Mohd Aslam son of Swar Ali, resident of Talwara (Reasi) has been arrested and the vehicle seized”, he said adding a case in this regard has been registered at police station Nagrota.
