SRINAGAR: A fresh batch of 1571 yatries, including women and sadhus, today paid obeisance at the holy Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir, where so far over 2.55 lakh pilgrims have darshan since the commencement of the 40-day-long pilgrimage from Baltal and Pahalgam tracks.
A yatra official told UNI that on the 33rd day of the Yatra 1,571 Yatris paid obeisance at the Holy Cave. With this a total of 2,55,542 Yatris had darshan at the Holy Cave since July 29 when the annual pilgrimage commenced. Majority of the yatries had returned to their homes after the pilgrimage.
