JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Feb 20: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 151 fresh COVID positive cases while Ladakh recorded 55 positives.
Jammu region registered 90 cases and Kashmir 61.
Among 90 cases in Jammu region, Jammu district reported highest 43 cases followed by 25 in Doda, seven Udhampur, five Ramban, four each in Kathua and Kishtwar and two in Rajouri district.
Samba, Poonch and Reasi districts didn’t report any cases.
Daily recoveries today stood at 228 bringing down number of active positive cases to 1030.
Ladakh reported 55 COVID positive cases including 50 in Leh and five in Kargil district.
Ladakh now has 398 active positive cases—325 in Leh and 73 in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 61 fresh COVID-19 cases.
Srinagar reported 29 cases, Baramulla 5, Budgam 4, Pulwama 7, Kupwara 8, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 3 and Shopian 0.
Besides, 496 COVID-19 patients including 268 from Valley- recovered during the time. So far, 445611 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 1949 including 919 in Kashmir.
Out of 452306 cases, 1949 are active including 919 in Kashmir Division.
