REASI, Apr 5: Police in Reasi’s Dharamsal area claimed they have seized 15 litres of illicit liquor from Siot area.
A police party of Police Station Dharamsal under the supervision of SHO Dharamsal Inspector Vishal Kumar laid a surprise naka at Siot, police said.
During checking and frisking, one person, identified as Chamail Kumar of Siot, Reasi, was caught with 15 litres of desi illicit liquor and 23 bottles of other country made liquor brand.
Accordingly, the accused has been booked in case FIR number 37/2024 Under Section 48(a) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Dharamsal and further investigation taken up.
