KATRA, Sept 1: Acting upon the mission to eradicate menace of drug abuse from the society, GRP Katra recovered 10 packets of Ganja (Bhang) weighing 15 kilograms.
Reports said that during routine checking of the Railway Station Katra, GRP Personnel, noticed two unattended bags lying at platform number 02. On this they informed SHO P/S GRP Katra and SDPO Railways Katra accordingly.
SDPO and SHO GRP Katra under the supervision of SSP Railways Katra Ranjit Singh Sambyal, rushed to the spot and searched these bags and found 10 packets of Ganja weighing 15 kilograms, in bags.
SHO P/S GRP Katra Inspector Narinder Singh seized both the bags and registered a case FIR number 04/2018 U/S 8/20 NDPS act at P/S GRP Katra and investigation of the case is still going on.
