SRINAGAR, June 3: Government today said out of 486 decisions that were undertaken during 2015-16 in various District Development Board (DDB) meetings, 146 decisions have been implemented.
In a written reply to a question of MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar in Lower House, Minister Incharge Planning Development and Monitoring Department said a total of 486 decisions were taken during 2015-16 in various districts. “While 146 have been implemented and remaining 340 decisions are under implementation,” the Minister said.
The Minister stated that during Board meeting of Srinagar District held during 2015, a total of 14 decisions were taken, against which 9 decisions have been implemented (64%) and remaining 5 decisions are under implementation.
The Minister said that an amount of Rs. 5 crore has been released to the Power Development Department for maintaining street lights on main roads, lanes and by-lanes of Srinagar city (which has to be done by Municipal Corporation even if the lights have been installed by any other agency)
Rs 1 crore has been approved for the creation of revolving corpus fund to be placed at the disposal of the Director SKIMS for treatment of cancer patients which shall be recouped after receipt of funds by concerned Ministry, the Minster stated.
