1400 more Budha Amarnath pilgrims reach Poonch

POONCH, Aug 6:  Nearly 1400 more Shri Budha Amarnath pilgrims reached the township of  Poonch this evening.
Official sources said that these pilgrims in 16  buses and 26 cars/jeeps started from Jammu base camp in the morning and reached Poonch at around 5.15 pm.  Deputy Commissioner and SSP Poonch besides members of the Yatra Reception Committee   received the yatra this evening.
These yatris have been accommodated at Akhara Mandir Sarai, ITI complex, local college and school buildings. They will have night stay at Poonch and then leave for the shrine of  Shri Budha Amarnathji at Mandi in the morning. The yatris had their break fast at Sunderbani and lunch at Rajouri. The Army had also made arrangements for serving them tea and snacks at BG, between Rajouri and Poonch.
Meanwhile, about 1450 pilgrims today performed darshan at the shrine of Baba Budha Amarnath  at Mandi today. The pilgrims after paying their obeisance at the shine, left for Jammu directly from Mandi.
