SAMBA, Jan 2: Vijaypur police rescued 14 bovine animals and arrested two cattle smugglers.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Vijaypur laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing Registration Number JK02AH-7425.
During checking, police team rescued 14 bovine animals from the truck and arrested two persons, who were identified as Shabez Ahmed, son of Intgaur of Uttar Pradesh and Gara Kumar, son of Tara Chand of Raipar Satwari, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 1/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation started.
