UDHAMPUR, July 26: Udhampur Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued 14 animals that were being smuggled to Kashmir in a truck.
Police has also seized the truck, which was intercepted near Jakheni during a surprise naka on the National Highway. However, driver of the truck managed to escape.
Police has registered a case in this connection, under Section 188/RPC 3 PCA Act at Police Station Udhampur.
