BARAMULLA, Jan 08: The candidates who had submitted application forms for various class 4th posts in the year 2006 in Baramulla district staged a protest demonstration against the district administration for failing to publish the selection list.

The protesting candidates said that the district administration conducted several interviews in several phases, but till date the selection list is nowhere.
“A large number of candidates had submitted their application forms for different class 4th posts in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district under advertisement number 04/DDC of 2006, dated 18-10-2006, under endorsement number DDCB/2006 class 4th/8522-35, dated 19-10-2006, however 13 years have passed the final selection list is still pending,” one of the candidate said.
The candidates alleged that from past one year the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and Director Planning are only assuring candidates that list will be published very soon but they fail to made the list before public.
However, as the protesting candidates reached at the DC office gate, the gate was closed for hours and nobody was allowed to enter into the office premises as a result, the candidates staged protest outside the gate.
