RAJOURI, Aug 21: Two houses caved due to land erosion besides one kilometer road was also damaged in Kali Kassi -Tredo area of Kalakote due to heavy rains two days back.
According to delayed reports 13 other adjoining houses in the area also suffered some minor damages and people have migrated to safer places as their houses are also at the verge of collapse.
The Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri F C Bhagat and other officers also visited the area to ascertain the situation and assess the loss today. The two houses which completely caved in belonged to Jalal-ud-Din and Ghulam Rasool. The people demanded immediate relief and allotment of tents for all 15 families in the area whose houses have collapsed and whose have suffered damage and are at the verge of collapse.
