13 injured in separate road accidents; one succumbs

Excelsior Correspondent SRINAGAR, Sept 27: Thirteen persons were injured in separate road accidents while as a person who was injured in a road accident few days back succumbed to his injuries. Mohammad Muzaffar Bhat, son of Mohammad Yaqoob resident of Nehru Park who was injured in an accident between a truck and a motorcycle on September 24 near KMD Adda Hazratbal, Srinagar passed away today after succumbing to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura. A gypsy of Police Station Pattan turned turtle near Hartrat Bridge, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to three police personnel including SHO Police Station Pattan and two civilians. All the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar. The SHO Pattan has been admitted in Sub-district Hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. A Tata Safari rolled down from the road at Zadkhussi Nallah, near Razdan Top resulting in injuries to seven persons namely Habibullah Lone, age 65 years, son of Ghulam Rasool, Shameema, daughter of Habibullah Lone residents of Achoora, Nowsheena, age 14 years, daughter of Ghulam Hassan resident of Badwan, driver Manzoor Ahmad , age 26 years, son of Ghulam Nabi Mir, Bashir Ahmad , age 45 years, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Baba, Saleema , age 40 years, wife of Bashir Ahmad Baba residents of Nayal Guraz and Zeenat, age 20 years, daughter of Ghulam Hyder Samoon resident of Badwan Guraz, Bandipora. A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05B/9127 hit and injured a pedestrian Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Lawaypora at Lawaypora. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
