13 injured as mini bus plunges into gorge

RAMBAN, Dec 23: Thirteen persons were injured when the mini-bus they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into nallah near Kunfer area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

As per police sources, a mini-bus bearing registration number JK19-3629 rolled down into nallah near Kunfer area on Jammu Srinagar National Highway, resulting into injuries to 13 persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals started rescue operation.
All the injured persons were rushed to District Hospital Ramban from where two injured were referred to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Narinder Kumar, son of Bal Krishan of Dalwas, Romesh Kumar, son of Dev Raj of Chakka Kundi, Mohammad Younus, son of Abdul Rashed of Sunyari Ramban, Vijay Kumar, son of Badri Nath of Batote, Sukh Ram, son of Chandu Ram of Batote, Manjeet Singh, son of Dev Raj of Chakka Kundi, Vilav Sharma, son of Bansi of Batote, Vijay Kumar, son of Prem Nath of Batote, Nusarat, daughter of Dilshad of Dalwas, Dilshada, daughter of Mohammad Latif of Dalwas, Partap Singh, son of Dharam Singh, Bablu Hussain, son of Shabir Hussain of Madhya Pradesh and Naseema Akhtar, wife of Mohammad Iqbal of Batote.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Chanderkote Police Station and investigation started.
