RAJOURI, July 27: Thirteen passengers were injured when a Winger vehicle went out of control and over turned in Manyal area near Thannamandi this evening.
A police spokesman said that incident took place at around 6.10 pm when a Tempo/ Winger bearing No. JK02AK/3545 went out of control at Manyal and over turned after hitting against a shop on the road side. It was on way to Thannamandi from Surankote via Bafliaz and Dera Gali.
The locals of the area and police party rescued the injured passengers and shifted them to Thannamandi hospital. After first aid, they were further shifted to District Hospital, Rajouri.
The injured were identified as Ulfat Bi (22), wife of Zaheer, resident of Manyal; Nissar Ahmed (15), son of Mohd Shabir from Manyal; Ghulam Fareed (26), son of Abdul Rehman from Surankot; Mariyam Begum (24), wife of Manzoor Ahmed, resident of Tota Morha; Javed Iqbal (22), son of Fazal Hussain from Lasana; Shaista (27), wife of Nadeem Malik from Surankote; Kajo Begum (32), Maqsood Ahmed from Surankote; Nadeem Malik (35), son of Maqsood Malik of Surankote; Zaheer Khan (23), son of Vilayat Khan from Manyal; Yasar Hussain, son of Mustafa from Lasana; Mehtab (10 months child), son of Manzoor from Rajdani; Latif Khan (30), son of Mohd Shafi, resident of Surankote and Tazeem (20) wife of Maqbool Ahmed from Behrote. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
