JAMMU, Apr 29: Police at Nagrota today rescued 13 bovine animals which were being transported to Kashmir valley illegally and arrested a bovine smuggler in this regard.
The accused Tofeen son of Nisar Ali of Rajouri was carrying 13 bovine animals to Kashmir in his truck bearing number JK02AB-8677 which on a naka was checked by police and the animals were rescued.
Police has registered a case under the relevant sections of IPC and started investigations.
