SAMBA, Sept 16: A 12th class student committed suicide under mysterious circumstances by hanging himself in Nonath village of Samba district last night.
Police said, Bansi Lal, 17, son Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of the village Nonath, was found hanging from the ceiling fan at around 8:00 pm in his residence by his family members. They informed the police, which took the body into its custody and sent it to District Hospital Samba for post-mortem. The body was cremated after the post-mortem today. In this regard, the Ghagwal Police have started investigation by registering a case under Section 174 of IPC.
There was a pal of gloom in the entire village as the after hearing about the suicide of a teenager.
