Poonch, Aug 28: In a major anti-enroachment drive, the district administration retrieved a total of 1226 kanals and 4 marlas of encroached State land in Poonch district.
On the direction of DDC Poonch, field staff of Tehsildars from Haveli, Mandi , Surankote, Mendhar, Mankote and Balakote conducted anti-encroachment drives in their respective Tehsils to evict illegal occupants from the state land.
The retrieved land included 995 kanals and 4 marlas of State land and 231 Kanals Kahcharai land.
